Shining the spotlight on Network under the star’s key-note speakers

With less than a month to go, Network under the stars are shining the spotlight on the event’s two keynote speakers—managing director at Zibrant, Fay Sharpe and founder and editor of Women in Leadership at Guardian, Harriett Minter.

Speaker Spotlight: Fay Sharpe

With more than 25 years’ experience in events, and as the creator of mentoring initiative, Fast Forward 15, very few are better placed to motivate young female industry professionals than Zibrant founder, Fay Sharpe.

During her inspiring session, Fay will share how goal-setting was crucial throughout her journey from Director of Sales at one of the world’s most iconic hotel groups, to joint founder and Managing Director of one of the industry’s leading providers of international venue finding, event production, congress, event and incentive management and hotel booking services.

Speaker Spotlight: Harriet Minter

Having met and interviewed some of the most inspiring and successful  businesswomen in the world—including COO at Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg and Founder of Huffington Post, Ariana Huffington—Founder and Editor of Guardian’s Women in Leadership and TED Talk favourite, Harriet Minter knows a thing or two about empowered women.

In her thought-provoking keynote presentation, Harriet will be sharing the lessons these inspirational women have taught her, as well as sharing her own journey as an entrepreneur who took an idea and turned it into £13million. Through her powerful story, she’ll be teaching attendees how to make things happen, build their own resilience and the importance of saying yes.

Network under the stars—the brainchild of International Confex, Ways & Means, Freeman, London Book & Screen Week and Olympia London—will be taking place on 7th July and will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Night. The night will bring female event professionals together for a night of networking, personal development and fun.
